AI MARKETING STRATEGY & GROWTH CONSULTING

AI marketing strategy.
Know what to do next.

I help businesses decide where AI can support their marketing and where to focus first. We look at your customers, acquisition channels, website and follow-up, then build a plan your team can act on.

START WITH THE BUSINESS

More AI tools will not choose your priorities.

The useful question is which part of your marketing needs to improve, and whether AI helps with that work.

01

Which problem comes first?

Discovery, enquiry quality, conversion, follow-up or the effort needed to run the work.

02

What is worth changing?

A channel, a message, a page, a process or a tool connection. Sometimes the next step is to simplify.

03

What will tell us it helped?

A clear measure, a useful comparison and a review date, with gaps in the data made visible.

A PRACTICAL PLANNING EXAMPLE

Put the opportunities next to the work involved.

I compare possible improvements with your objective, the evidence, the work involved and what we can measure. The result is an order of work, with reasons.

Example priority worksheet comparing an enquiry handoff, content preparation and reporting connection by the decision, work involved and evidence needed.

Define the problem.

Describe what is happening and which customers or team members it affects.

Choose what to change.

Decide whether the work needs clearer information, a process change, automation or further investigation.

Set the review.

Agree the owner, evidence and next decision before starting.

Example worksheet. Priorities are based on your business, not a universal scoring formula.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A plan with decisions attached.

I can work through the strategy with your team or provide ongoing direction as the plan moves into delivery. When the plan calls for connected enquiries and follow-up, campaign automation covers that implementation and operation.

CURRENT POSITION

A review of the customer route.

How people discover you, understand the offer, enquire and receive follow-up.

PRIORITIES

The work worth doing first.

Recommendations explained against business needs, available evidence and delivery capacity.

AI USE CASES

Specific tasks for AI.

Where it can assist research, production, analysis or coordination, and how to review the output.

DELIVERY PLAN

A sequence your team can follow.

Actions, owners, dependencies and what needs to be agreed before implementation.

EXPERIMENTS

Tests that answer a question.

A specific change, a measure, a review point and a decision about what comes next.

MEASUREMENT

Reporting tied to the objective.

Define useful acquisition, enquiry and operational measures without treating every increase as proof of growth.

A CONNECTED VIEW

Look at the customer journey.
Choose the work that supports it.

SEO, AI search, content, social, paid campaigns and follow-up can all have a role. I review them against the same commercial objective rather than giving every channel the same priority.

Who are we trying to reach?

Define the audience, need and offer before choosing a channel or AI application.

Where does progress stop?

Find the weak handoff between discovery, interest, enquiry and follow-up.

What can the team act on?

Account for the people, access, budget and information needed to deliver the plan.

FROM RECOMMENDATION TO TEST

Make the next decision easier.

“Use AI for lead generation” is too broad to be a useful brief. “Prepare an enquiry summary for review before assigning the next action” gives the team something to build and assess.

I turn priorities into specific work, with a measure and a review point. A task that needs an agent to choose tools or steps can move into agent implementation. If the evidence is incomplete, the plan says what we need to learn.

Example brief. No performance outcome is assumed.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Focused advice or ongoing direction.

Choose a defined strategy project, help with a specific growth question or continued support for your team.

The business question, channels, markets, available data, stakeholder involvement and depth of delivery planning. Implementation, campaign operation, production, software and advertising spend are separate unless included in the proposal.

HOW WE WORK THROUGH IT

BEFORE WE START

Questions about AI marketing strategy.

What does an AI marketing strategist do?

I review the marketing objective, customer journey and current process, then identify where AI can help with specific work. The output is a plan with priorities, actions and measures. Buying tools is not the strategy.

Is this the same as AI search optimisation?

No. An AI search visibility audit can inform one part of the plan. This service looks more broadly at acquisition, content, campaigns, follow-up and how your marketing team works.

Can you work as our AI growth marketer or marketing manager?

I can provide strategy, planning and ongoing direction for the responsibilities we agree. Hands-on campaign management, production and implementation can be included or quoted separately. The proposal makes clear who does the work and who makes the final decisions.

Does this cover demand-generation planning?

Yes, where it fits the business objective. That can include audience and offer review, acquisition channels, useful content, follow-up and measurement. A demand-generation director or fractional leadership arrangement needs an explicit agreement about responsibility and decision authority.

Will you recommend specific tools?

When a tool is relevant to the work, I assess it against the task, existing systems, cost, access and how the team will use it. An existing tool or simpler process may be enough.

What if our analytics or CRM data is incomplete?

I review what is available, identify the gaps and separate observations from assumptions. The first priorities may include fixing measurement or organising records. Missing data is not treated as evidence of zero demand or zero results.

Is implementation included?

A strategy project includes the agreed analysis and plan. Implementation, ongoing operations and production are separate unless listed in the proposal. We can agree those responsibilities alongside the strategy or afterwards.

Can you guarantee more traffic or leads?

No. I can define and deliver the agreed strategy work, explain the priorities and review the evidence. Traffic and lead outcomes depend on the business, implementation, competition and customer response. Targets are planning decisions, not guarantees.
