Website information and tools
Our pages, articles and tools provide general information about search and digital marketing. They are not a substitute for a review of your own website, accounts and business circumstances. Tool outputs and examples may be incomplete or become outdated as platforms and data change.
Please verify recommendations against your circumstances before making changes to a website or advertising account. You can contact us if you find an error or need advice specific to your business.
Enquiries, proposals and starting work
Submitting a form, requesting a callback or asking for a website review does not by itself create a paid engagement or authorise a charge. We will discuss your requirements and confirm the proposed scope and fees before paid work begins.
A client engagement is governed by the proposal or service agreement accepted by both parties. That agreement should identify the work, responsibilities, fees, payment schedule and any applicable third-party costs. If these website terms conflict with an accepted project agreement, that agreement takes precedence for the project, subject to applicable law.
Pricing and third-party costs
Website service descriptions and pricing information help explain available options. Your accepted quotation or proposal confirms the services included, currency, applicable taxes and any agreed term.
Advertising spend, software subscriptions, hosting and other third-party charges are included only where expressly stated in the accepted proposal. Changes to scope or additional charges require agreement; these website terms do not authorise unexpected fees.
Search performance and case studies
Case studies describe particular engagements and the evidence available for them. Historical rankings, traffic, enquiries and revenue are not a promise that another business will achieve the same results.
Search engines, advertising platforms and AI services make their own decisions about rankings, eligibility and visibility. Outcomes also depend on competition, budgets, website condition, implementation and customer demand. We agree the work and objectives for each engagement rather than promising a particular ranking or sales figure.
This does not reduce our responsibility to carry out agreed services with reasonable care and skill or affect any rights you have under applicable law.
Client access and materials
If an engagement requires account access or business materials, the parties will agree the access and approvals needed. Please provide information you are authorised to share, and use agreed secure methods for access rather than sending passwords through a general contact form.
Providing access or materials does not transfer ownership of your accounts or content to us. Ownership and permitted use of commissioned deliverables, existing materials and third-party assets are addressed in the project agreement.
Use of website content
You may read and share links to our public pages. Website text, graphics and other materials are owned by SEOFreelance.Net or their respective rights holders. Except where permitted by law or an applicable licence, please obtain permission before reproducing substantial content, distributing it commercially or presenting it as your own work.
Client names, platform names, trademarks and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the site does not by itself imply endorsement, certification or an official partnership.
Responsible use
Please do not use the website or forms for unlawful activity, impersonation, unsolicited bulk messages, malicious code, unauthorised access or deliberate disruption. Use any tools only with websites and data you are authorised to assess.
We may take proportionate steps to prevent misuse or protect the website. This does not give us a general right to cancel paid work or retain fees; those matters are governed by the accepted agreement and applicable law.
External services and availability
The website may link to or use services provided by other organisations. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and their features or availability may change. Linking to a service does not transfer responsibility for our own commitments to that provider.
Website availability may be interrupted by maintenance, faults or third-party outages. If a website feature is unavailable, please contact us by email or telephone.
Cancellation, refunds and legal rights
Project cancellation, notice periods and payment arrangements are set out in the accepted proposal or service agreement. This page does not impose a blanket no-refund policy, automatic renewal or cancellation penalty.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how enquiries, email records and website information are handled. These terms do not constitute consent to optional tracking, marketing messages or call recording.
Questions and disputes
If you have a concern about the website or our services, email sales@seofreelance.net with the relevant details so we can investigate and discuss a resolution.
Any governing-law or jurisdiction provisions for a paid engagement belong in its accepted agreement. These website terms do not require you to waive mandatory protections or legal remedies available under applicable law.
Updates to these terms
We may update these website terms to reflect changes to the site or services. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Publishing revised website terms does not retrospectively change an existing client agreement; changes to that agreement require the appropriate agreement between the parties.
