This policy explains how SEOFreelance.Net handles personal information when you visit this website, send an enquiry or communicate with us about services.
Who we are and how to contact us
SEOFreelance.Net is the consultancy business of Himanshu Swaraj. You can contact us about this policy or your personal information using the details below.

Information you provide
When you enquire about services, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, business name, website, service interests and message. The information requested varies by form. Required fields are marked; without details needed to understand or reply to your enquiry, we may be unable to respond.
Project correspondence may include business objectives, proposals and reporting requirements. Access to client accounts and handling of client datasets are addressed as part of the relevant engagement. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information through a general enquiry form.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to respond to questions, assess service requirements, prepare proposals, arrange discussions and administer agreed work. Technical information helps operate the website, investigate problems and protect it against misuse.
An enquiry is not permission for unrelated promotional emails. You can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time. This does not prevent correspondence needed to handle your enquiry or an existing engagement.
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, our purposes may rely on steps you request before a contract or performance of a contract; legitimate interests in proportionate business communication, administration and security; legal obligations; or consent where required for optional tracking or marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact forms and email
Our forms use Contact Form 7 to prepare enquiry emails. Email and correspondence are handled through Google Workspace, formerly known as Google Apps. Contact Form 7 does not itself maintain an enquiry inbox, but emails can remain in our mailbox and mail-delivery logs.
FluentSMTP email logging is enabled. Logs can contain message content, recipient information and delivery details. The current log-retention setting is 14 days. This setting does not delete copies from our Google Workspace mailbox or backups.
Website infrastructure and technical information
Cloudflare is part of our website infrastructure for delivery and protection. Website requests can include your IP address, requested page, browser information, referring page and request time. Infrastructure providers may process this information to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose faults. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics, search reporting and callbacks
We plan to use Google Analytics and Callback Tracker on the public website. The descriptions below explain their intended purposes; availability depends on which features are enabled.
- Google Analytics: to understand website usage, such as pages visited, referral sources, device/browser information and interactions. Analytics can use cookies and similar identifiers. See Google Analytics data safeguards and Google’s privacy policy.
- Google Search Console: to review how the site appears in Google Search, including search queries, clicks, impressions and indexing issues. This reporting is distinct from an on-site visitor analytics script.
- Callback Tracker: to handle callback requests and understand which enquiries lead to calls. Using an enabled widget may involve your telephone number, any contact details you submit and call or enquiry attribution information. The information processed depends on the enabled features. See Callback Tracker’s privacy policy.
Callback Tracker offers recording features, but their availability does not mean every call is recorded. If recording is enabled, a separate notice and any required permission need to be provided for the call. You can contact us directly by email instead of using a callback widget.
Additional analytics providers are not covered by a blanket permission to track you. We will update this notice to identify additional services and their purposes if they are introduced.
Cookies and your choices
WordPress uses cookies for authorised sign-in and administration. Where a comment form offers to remember your details and you select that option, cookies can store those details for later comments. Your browser lets you block or remove cookies, although blocking essential cookies can affect website functions.
Optional analytics and tracking require appropriate choices where applicable. This privacy policy is not itself consent to cookies or tracking. You can contact us with questions about tracking or your information.
Comments, images and external services
Where comments are enabled, we process the comment, details submitted with it and technical information used for moderation. Approved comments and the associated public name or website may be visible to others. Do not include private information in a public comment.
WordPress can use Gravatar to display profile images, which may involve an email-derived identifier being sent to that service. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
Externally hosted images, videos or widgets can cause your browser to contact another provider, which may receive technical information or apply its own cookies and account settings. Links to LinkedIn, X and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.
Who may receive information
Website infrastructure, email, analytics and callback providers process information needed for the functions described above. Google Workspace handles business email; Cloudflare supports website infrastructure. Provider processing is also subject to the relevant service terms. Information may be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where needed to handle a legal obligation or dispute.
International processing
Our business operates from India and serves clients in other countries. Correspondence may be accessed in India, while providers such as Google, Cloudflare and Callback Tracker may process information in other countries. Contact us for information about the provider arrangements relevant to your enquiry or engagement.
How long we keep information
Enquiry emails currently have no fixed retention period or scheduled deletion from our inbox. They may therefore remain stored indefinitely unless removed. You may request deletion using the contact details above; requests are considered alongside applicable legal obligations and any need to retain relevant records.
Client correspondence and transaction records may also be needed for ongoing work, accounting or resolving disputes. WordPress comments can remain stored until removed. Email delivery logs have the separate 14-day configuration described above. Backup copies are separate from active records and may not disappear immediately when an active copy is deleted.
Your privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, obtain portable information, or withdraw consent. These rights have conditions and exceptions, including legal record-keeping requirements.
Email sales@seofreelance.net to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal records. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA, contact your local supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our services or handling of personal information change. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
