GOOGLE PENALTY RECOVERY CONSULTANT
Understand the loss.
Build the right recovery plan.
A manual action, sudden ranking loss or hacked website needs a clear diagnosis. I work directly with you to identify the cause, prioritise corrections and guide the recovery work.
Experience with manual and algorithm-related recovery. Across 18+ years in SEO, I have helped multiple websites recover from manual actions and regain lost visibility.
Hands-on search experience since 2008.
Successful campaigns across my career.
Diagnosis and priorities with Himanshu.
DAAOMI connects action with review.
START WITH THE EVIDENCE
I first separate a confirmed Google action from a ranking reassessment, technical failure or change in demand. That prevents an expensive correction aimed at the wrong problem.
Read the specific manual action or security issue and its scope.
Compare dates, affected queries, markets and page groups.
Check migrations, releases, indexing controls and measurement.
You see the evidence, what remains uncertain and which actions deserve priority. Not a generic instruction to remove links or rewrite the whole website.

EXPERIENCED SEO RECOVERY SUPPORT
When enquiries fall, it is tempting to change everything at once. I build a timeline of the loss, review what the site and search data actually show, and separate urgent corrections from work that needs more evidence.
My recovery experience includes manual actions and algorithm-related declines. I bring that history to the investigation while treating your website, market and previous SEO work as their own case.
We agree the work and approvals before material content removal, redirects, link actions or deployment. Your team knows what changes and why.
MANUAL ACTIONS + ALGORITHMS + COMPROMISED SITES
I use the term penalty where it fits the evidence. A hacked site may have a security warning, a manual action or both; a core-update decline may involve neither.
Manual actions
I read the action and its scope first, then map the affected pages or practices to a correction plan. A superficial fix on a handful of URLs can leave the underlying issue in place.
Discuss This Recovery Issue →Review the notice, affected examples and wider patterns across the site.
Coordinate the agreed fixes and record what was changed and checked.
Prepare a clear reconsideration submission when the work is ready.
Algorithmic declines
I compare dates, page groups and search demand with the site history. Update timing is useful context, but correlation alone is not a diagnosis.
Discuss This Recovery Issue →Compare queries, countries, devices and page types, not only total traffic.
Review intent, usefulness, evidence and the competing search experience.
Agree changes that address the findings and measure their response.
Hacked websites
Injected pages, malicious redirects and compromised templates can affect both visitors and search visibility. I coordinate the search work with the specialists responsible for securing the site.
Discuss This Recovery Issue →Your security team removes the compromise and closes the entry point.
Review injected URLs, legitimate destinations, redirects and crawl access.
Check the cleanup and support the applicable Search Console review.
Link spam
Past paid-link activity or a confirmed unnatural-links action needs a considered review. Unfamiliar backlinks alone are not evidence that the site has been penalised.
Discuss This Recovery Issue →Understand how links were acquired and which patterns are relevant.
Document removal efforts and consider disavow only where warranted.
Avoid indiscriminate link deletion or broad, unreviewed disavow files.
Content & AI spam
Scaled, unoriginal pages can fail readers whether written by people, automation or both. I assess the page purpose and evidence before choosing what to retain or change.
Discuss This Recovery Issue →Find duplication, unsupported claims and pages created without a useful role.
Improve, consolidate or exclude content with approvals and URL planning.
Set factual review, ownership and quality checks for future content.
MANUAL ACTION RECOVERY
A reconsideration request is not a persuasive letter in place of cleanup. I help your team address the action across its affected scope, validate the work and explain the changes with supporting evidence.
I can review unnatural links, content-related actions, cloaking, deceptive redirects or other issues identified in the notice. The actual report determines the investigation, not a preset checklist applied to every site.
How Google's manual action process works ↗A CLEAR RECONSIDERATION RECORD
What Google reported and what the investigation found.
Which practices and affected pages were corrected.
What was checked and the evidence supporting completion.
Submission status, feedback and any further action required.
AI SPAM + LOW-VALUE CONTENT RECOVERY
Google's scaled-content policies concern manipulative, low-value publishing, regardless of how the text was produced. I audit the purpose, facts and usefulness of the affected pages.
Identify overlapping pages, copied material, unsupported claims and sections with no clear reader benefit.
Retain and improve valuable material; consolidate or exclude weak pages with a considered URL plan.
Agree subject review, evidence requirements and approval before another batch is published.
AI can help organise an audit or compare page patterns. It cannot establish that a claim is true, or turn a superficial rewrite into a recovery strategy. I connect content improvements with accessibility and evidence for both search and AI-assisted discovery.
HACKED WEBSITE SEARCH RECOVERY
Your host, developer or incident-response specialist contains the incident, removes malicious code and persistence, patches the entry point and validates the environment.
A clean-looking homepage is not enough to establish that the site is secure. I coordinate with the person responsible for that assessment.
I review injected URLs, cloaking, redirects, indexed spam and legitimate pages affected by cleanup. We plan correct URL responses and check Search Console reports after the technical work.
Where applicable, I support a security review or manual-action reconsideration. Those are distinct processes, chosen against the notice.
If a breach may involve personal data, your security and legal advisers should assess notification and reporting duties. Search recovery does not replace incident response.
SPAM BACKLINKS + UNNATURAL LINKS
I review acquisition history, link patterns and relevant Search Console evidence before recommending action. A sudden batch of unfamiliar links or a high tool-generated risk score does not establish a penalty by itself.
Where cleanup is justified, I document removal efforts and carefully assess any disavow proposal. I also review the practices that caused the problem so future acquisition does not repeat it.
Google's guidance on when to disavow ↗Most websites do not need this tool. Used incorrectly, it can harm search performance.
OTHER POLICY + TECHNICAL ISSUES
My audit follows the evidence across policy, publishing and technical implementation. Several issues can coexist, and a technical failure can resemble a penalty.
Review whether pages serve distinct needs or simply funnel similar searches to the same destination.
Compare what users and crawlers receive, including hidden content and unexpected redirects.
Review moderation, injected material and the purpose of externally supplied sections.
Check noindex, robots rules, canonicals, redirects, rendering and server responses.
RECOVERY MILESTONES
Approved changes delivered and validated.
Manual or security review progress where applicable.
Indexing, impressions and positions by affected segment.
Qualified visits, enquiries and orders with context.
I separate implementation from outcome. Review completion, search visibility and revenue do not move on the same timetable. We assess progress against the baseline and account for seasonality, demand and site changes.
Connect Analytics & Measurement →INTERNATIONAL + MULTILINGUAL RECOVERY
I review country, language and directory-level patterns when the data allows. A local service business, an international store and a publisher can lose visibility in different ways.
We agree which markets matter commercially and where native-language or subject-specialist review is needed. Regulated claims and legal notices remain subject to your authorised advisers.
DAAOMI FOR SEARCH RECOVERY
DAAOMI stands for Discover, Analyze, Audit, Optimize, Monitor and Improve. The acronym takes the first letter of each stage. I use it to keep diagnosis, corrective work and follow-up connected.
Gather the timeline, notices, markets and previous work.
Compare affected pages, queries, traffic and change history.
Review policy, content, links and technical evidence.
Coordinate owners, approvals, validation and review documentation.
Follow search changes and any applicable review status.
Use the evidence to guide further work and prevent recurrence.

WORK DIRECTLY WITH HIMANSHU
You need someone who can explain the evidence and make practical decisions with your team. I stay involved in diagnosis, priorities and progress reviews, rather than pass the brief through an account-management layer.
I can work with your current agency, developers and editors, or provide an independent review before you commission changes. The scope follows the problem and your ability to deliver.
My published case studies show named engagements and recorded outcomes. We can discuss which experience is relevant to your site and the specific recovery issue.

I start with the Manual Actions and Security Issues reports in Search Console, then compare the loss with indexing, site changes and performance data. A manual action has a specific notice. A ranking decline without that notice needs investigation; it may involve an algorithmic reassessment, a technical problem, demand changes or several causes together.
Yes. Across my 18+ years in SEO, I have helped multiple websites recover from manual actions and regain visibility after algorithm-related declines. I use that experience to investigate your situation, not assume the same correction fits every site. We discuss the relevant work, the evidence available and the responsibilities before starting.
The work can include diagnosis, affected-page analysis, content and link review, technical checks, a prioritised correction plan, implementation oversight and recovery monitoring. For a confirmed manual action, I can help prepare the reconsideration submission after the issues have been addressed. The proposal identifies the site sections, review depth and delivery responsibilities covered.
No. A manual action is a review-based action reported in Search Console. An algorithmic decline does not carry that same notice or a manual-action reconsideration route. I compare the affected pages and searches with update timing, technical changes and competing results before recommending improvements. A core update can change relative rankings without the site having broken a spam policy.
Yes. I help identify the full scope of the notice, document corrections and prepare a clear account of what changed. The submission should explain the problem, the completed work and the evidence. We use the appropriate Search Console review process when the site is ready, rather than send repeated requests before the underlying issue is fixed.
Yes, for the search-recovery work and coordination with your security team. I review injected URLs, redirects, indexed spam, affected templates and Search Console notices. Your qualified developer, host or incident-response specialist must remove the compromise and close the entry point. Once cleanup is verified, I support the applicable search checks and security or manual-action review process.
No. A third-party score is not a Google penalty finding. I review the actual links, their history and any manual-action evidence before proposing removal or disavow work. Google says most sites do not need the disavow tool. Where it is justified, we document the rationale and protect legitimate links rather than submit a blanket list.
I can audit the affected content and its publishing process. The important questions are accuracy, originality, purpose and value to the reader, not whether an AI tool touched the draft. I recommend what to improve, consolidate or remove from search, with subject specialists validating claims. Rephrasing the same weak material is not a complete correction.
No. Material removals, redirects, disavow submissions and changes to valuable pages need an agreed plan and approval. I identify dependencies, preserve an appropriate record and coordinate testing. The first audit is a diagnosis, not permission to make irreversible changes across the site.
Yes, within the agreed audit. I review the relevant notice or evidence for issues such as doorway abuse, hidden text, deceptive redirects, scraped content, user-generated spam or misuse of third-party content. I apply the current policy to the actual implementation rather than label every similar-looking page a violation.
I first establish the cause, correction scope and practical milestones. Implementation, recrawling and any Google review each affect timing. Removing a manual action and regaining previous rankings are separate milestones; past positions are not automatically restored. I report the changes completed and the search response so you can assess progress against a realistic plan.
Yes. I segment the investigation by country, language, directory, device and page type where the data supports it. A decline in one market can be hidden by a stable site-wide total. I can connect the work with international SEO and multilingual SEO, with local editorial review where needed.
I address accessibility, useful content and reliable evidence that can support both conventional search and AI-assisted discovery. I assess those outcomes separately: a ranking improvement does not prove that an AI system recommends the business. An AI visibility audit can identify additional gaps once the underlying recovery priorities are clear.
Usually I begin with the website, approximate date of the loss, Search Console information and a history of important site or SEO changes. Appropriate read-only analytics access can help establish the baseline. Do not send passwords or customer records through the enquiry form. We agree least-privilege access and confidential handling before sharing sensitive material.
Yes. I can provide an independent diagnosis, review a proposed correction plan or guide delivery with your team. Each task has an owner, approval point and validation step. For a consultancy-only engagement, I supply the priorities and review work without implying that development, security cleanup or content production is included.
I quote against the affected site sections, complexity, evidence available and support required. The options separate diagnosis, a corrective project and ongoing consultancy. Reporting tracks completed changes, review status where applicable, visibility and qualified visits or enquiries. Major development, incident response, legal advice and extensive content production are separately agreed.
