LINK BUILDING CONSULTING

Link Building ServicesRelevant websites.
References worth earning.

I help you find publishers with a reason to reference your business, choose pages worth promoting and turn outreach into an accountable monthly programme.

BEFORE THE OUTREACH

A high score is not a reason to say yes.

I look beyond DA or DR. A relevant industry resource can be a better opportunity than a general website that publishes unrelated paid articles all day.

Subject fit

Does the publication regularly cover your field?

Audience fit

Could its readers actually need your business?

Page context

Does your reference help the article make sense?

Publishing quality

Is there a credible editorial purpose beyond selling links?

MATCH THE METHOD TO THE OPPORTUNITY

Not every good reference starts with a guest article.

I choose the approach after reviewing your business, existing assets and the reason a publisher would care.

Useful resources

Find relevant pages where your guide, research or practical tool adds something missing.

Unlinked mentions

Identify genuine mentions of your business and ask whether a useful destination can be added.

Link reclamation

Investigate valuable broken or lost references and restore the route where possible.

Expert contributions

Develop a useful contribution with a relevant publisher, with clear authorship and editorial review.

Business relationships

Explore legitimate associations, partners and supplier resources where a reference serves the audience.

Evidence-led stories

Turn approved research or practical expertise into an outreach angle a publication can assess.

My working rule: no private blog networks, automated comment blasts or link exchanges at scale. Paid placements need appropriate link qualification and your approval. Read Google’s link spam guidance

RELEVANCE HAS A GEOGRAPHY

The right audience matters more than a country label.

UK & IRELAND

Trade and professional context

A sector publication or association may reach the right buyers more directly than broad international coverage.

USA & CANADA

National reach or regional fit?

A national ecommerce offer and a service business with a limited territory need different publisher priorities.

AUSTRALIA & OTHER MARKETS

Availability before expansion

I check who you can serve, then research relevant publications. Language-specific campaigns need an agreed reviewer.

WHAT YOUR REPORT SHOULD ANSWER

See the placement.
Understand the decision.

I separate activity from delivery. Outreach sent, responses received and links published are different things.

Why the opportunity met the agreed criteria

Then look beyond the link count.

I review the target pages alongside search visibility, referral visits and qualified actions where tracking allows. A larger backlink count is not a substitute for useful content or a working enquiry journey.

New referring domains are reported separately. Two links in the same article do not become two package deliverables.

BACKLINKS, MENTIONS & AI DISCOVERY

Three related signals.
Not the same deliverable.

Independent references can help people discover and assess your expertise. An AI answer may cite a source without linking directly to your business. I keep that distinction clear when planning and reporting.

Explore AI citation strategy

Backlink

A clickable reference from another website to yours.

Brand mention

A reference to your business, with or without a link.

AI citation

A source used in an AI answer, not a promised outcome of a placement.

Himanshu Swaraj, SEO and link building consultant

DIRECT CONSULTING, CLEAR ACCOUNTABILITY

I want the link to have a reason to exist.

I started in agency SEO in 2008. My advice is to look at the destination page before ordering more backlinks: does it deserve the reference, answer the buyer’s question and make the next step clear?

You work directly with me on the target pages, opportunity criteria and reporting. When content or technical work should come first, I explain why.

Currently accepting 2 consulting projects.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A PACKAGE

Link building questions, answered.

Quality, costs, delivery and the expectations I agree with clients before outreach begins.

What is included in your link building service?

I review your target pages, existing referring domains and competitors before recommending outreach. The agreed scope covers prospect research, publisher checks, outreach, follow-up and placement reporting. Content creation and any third-party costs are identified in the proposal, so the monthly number is not the only thing you can compare.

Can I choose how many backlinks to target each month?

Yes. The packages below start the conversation at 5, 10 or 15 links per month. I check whether that pace makes sense for your niche, budget and available content before agreeing a target. Editorial acceptance is outside my control, so the proposal sets the delivery window and how any shortfall will be handled.

What counts as a delivered backlink?

I count an accepted live placement against the agreed criteria, with its source URL, destination, anchor and link attribute recorded. Multiple links within one article do not become multiple package deliverables. I also report new referring domains separately so repeat coverage from one publisher does not look like several new websites.

Do you guarantee dofollow links or a particular DA or DR?

I do not choose publishers from a metric alone. DA and DR are third-party estimates, not Google scores. I review subject relevance, the audience, the actual page and the publishing pattern. The proposal explains acceptable link attributes; paid placements must be appropriately qualified, rather than sold as guaranteed ranking credit.

How do you handle paid publisher placements?

If a publisher requests payment, I separate that cost from my work and ask for approval before proceeding. Paid or sponsored links need appropriate qualification, such as rel=”sponsored” or rel=”nofollow”. You can choose an earned-outreach-only scope. I do not describe a paid placement as an independent editorial endorsement.

Can you build links for the UK, USA or other target countries?

I can research publications and opportunities around the markets you serve. A UK trade publication may be more relevant to a British professional service than a large general site elsewhere. Language-specific outreach needs an agreed language reviewer. Where several countries are involved, I connect the work with your international SEO strategy.

Do I need new content before outreach starts?

Sometimes. A useful comparison, original data, a technical explanation or a genuinely helpful resource gives a publisher a reason to reference you. I first review what you already have. Where the gap is content, I scope the brief and editorial responsibilities before outreach; the content strategy work can support that preparation.

Will you use private blog networks or bulk submissions?

No. I do not recommend private blog networks, automated comment links or large reciprocal-link campaigns. Outreach should have a relevant reason to exist. Business listings have a separate purpose and belong in a clearly scoped citation management service, not disguised as editorial backlinks.

Can you recover lost links or unlinked brand mentions?

Yes, where the original reference is relevant and there is a sensible destination to restore. I check whether a page moved, a link broke or the publisher mentioned the business without linking. I then prioritise recoverable opportunities. A publisher can still decline a request or remove its content.

What happens if a link disappears later?

I record the change and check whether recovery is possible. Monitoring periods and any replacement terms are agreed before the campaign starts. I will not promise that a third-party website will keep a link forever, and I will distinguish a recoverable edit from a closed website or changed editorial policy.

How long before link building improves rankings?

There is no reliable universal deadline. I monitor acquired references alongside the target pages, search visibility and qualified actions. Technical problems, weak content and competition still matter. I will tell you when another part of the site needs attention instead of prescribing a larger link package for every problem.

Are backlinks and AI citations the same thing?

No. A backlink is a link from another website; an AI citation is a source reference in an answer. Relevant independent coverage can make your expertise easier to discover, but buying or earning a link does not guarantee an AI mention. I keep AI citation work distinct in the reporting.

What will I see in my monthly report?

You receive the live source and destination URLs, anchor text, link attributes, publication dates and current status. I separate outreach still in progress from delivered placements, explain rejected opportunities and relate the activity to the pages we prioritised. You work directly with me on the next decisions.

How is the monthly price calculated?

I quote against the market, niche, target volume, research effort and content requirements. Publisher fees, language review and additional assets are listed separately where relevant. The proposal confirms the term, approval process, delivery window and shortfall terms before you commit.
