CLIENT / BUSINESS CONTEXT
Increase visibility for fight gyms, boxing gyms, martial arts, fitness training and related London searches while increasing trial bookings, membership enquiries, class enquiries, phone calls and Google Maps visibility.
Client / sector: Fight City Gym
Industry: Fitness / boxing / martial arts
Market: London, United Kingdom
Duration: 7 months
THE PROBLEM
These were the challenges that shaped the work.
THE DIAGNOSIS
My assessment was that the gym had local search demand, but website pages, GBP signals and mobile conversion paths needed to work together more clearly for London-based training intent.
These challenges set the priorities for the project.
The work needed strategic interpretation before implementation.
This is my assessment of why the work was needed, separate from the measured outcomes below.
THE STRATEGY
The strategy flow shows the sequence of decisions without turning the project into a generic checklist.
WHAT WE ACTUALLY DID
The work is categorized so it is easier to understand than a long activity dump.
London keyword research, core page optimization, membership, boxing, martial arts and personal training optimization, and local content.
Titles, headings, alt text, internal links, FAQs and CTA improvements.
Mobile, sitemap, indexing, redirect and metadata work.
Categories, services, images, booking links, description, posts, class updates, review responses and review collection support.

WHAT CHANGED
The website, Google Business Profile and mobile trial-booking path were brought closer together, so London training searches had clearer pages, stronger local signals and more direct enquiry routes.
For a local gym, search visibility was not only about rankings. Website relevance, GBP completeness, reviews, photos, posts and mobile booking paths all had to support the same local intent.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
