SEO TOOLKIT · PRACTICAL CHECK
Keyword Density Checker
Review repeated terms in a text sample without treating density as a ranking formula.
Review a text sample
Use the result to choose the next useful fix.
Himanshu’s approach is straightforward: understand what the tool shows, then connect it to the page, customer journey and search opportunity in front of you.
Use frequency as an editorial clue
Keyword frequency can help you notice repetition, but there is no ideal density percentage that makes a page rank. Clear language, useful coverage, intent and evidence matter more than forcing a term into every paragraph.
Keyword density questions
What percentage should I target?
Do not write to a fixed percentage. Use the report to spot unnatural repetition, then edit for people and the page’s actual purpose.
Does this understand synonyms?
The tool counts visible terms in the text sample. It does not understand every synonym, entity or meaning relationship.
Can this detect keyword stuffing?
It can surface repetition, but stuffing is a contextual judgement. Review headings, boilerplate, links and the overall reading experience.
Should I include the keyword in every heading?
No. Headings should help people scan the page and describe the section that follows. Repeating the same phrase in every heading can make the copy feel forced.
Does density prove search intent is covered?
No. Frequency does not show whether the page answers the customer’s question. Check usefulness, supporting detail, examples and next steps as well.
