An XML sitemap is a discovery aid, not a ranking shortcut. Include canonical, indexable URLs that represent useful pages and keep the file aligned with the pages your site actually wants search engines to find.

Does a sitemap guarantee indexing?
No. It helps discovery, while indexing still depends on access, quality, canonicalisation and search engine decisions.
Should every URL be included?
No. Avoid redirects, blocked URLs, duplicate variants and thin utility pages unless there is a specific reason to include them.
Where should I submit it?
Publish it at a stable URL and reference it in robots.txt. You can also submit it through the relevant search engine webmaster tools.
Should sitemap URLs use HTTPS?
Use the final canonical protocol and hostname for the site. Do not mix HTTP, HTTPS, staging URLs or alternate hostnames in the same production sitemap.
Can I include images or videos?
This generator creates a basic URL sitemap. Rich media sitemap extensions need additional fields and should be added only when they reflect assets on the published page.
